Good for a short stay, but not a long one.

The location is very good and not far from the bus station. The staff from the breakfast is very friendly and good workers. As well, the cleaning staff did a good job with cleaning in the room.

The staff from the front desk is not very organized. In one week stay the door key did not work properly, just because they can not set the right check out date. Always asking if I have to check out today, looking like they are rushing you on not staying in the hostel. As well, there are a lot of mosquitoes in the room.

Overall, it was a good home away from home.

I love the location of the accommodation.

The toilet could have been more organised as when you go for shower all the water goes on the toilet floor as there is only a shower curtain that separates the toilet and shower area.

Good location, 10 minutes walk to the beach in Sliema. Close to airport bus. Stores close for groceries. Aircon in rooms. Bathroom for just our room. Kitchen facilities sparse. Great great breakfast, pool was wonderful

Kitchen equipment was limited. The room next door had been trashed, lights left on.

A pleasant stay considering the price.

I appreciated how there were staff at the reception 24/7; it made the hostel feel safer.

The location was not in the best area; not many people were around at night. When booking, I was told I would be sharing a room with 3 other people. However, I was alone in my dorm the entire time.

Very good value for money, overall a good stay

Really nice breakfast. Nice pool area and maintenance staff was tactful and welcoming. Always there to help with questions. The receptionist from Rome, a lady was incredibly professional, also a younger man, who was taking his job seriously. Central location to everything. Clean sheets and towels.Spacious hostel. Laundry possibility with a dryer.

I was harassed by some of the staff members who wanted to abuse me as a guest what comes to their goals to get jobs in Finland. They seemed to be just after better salaries, not concentrating on their work. The receptionists had strange attitudes what comes to drugs and safety in the rooms. I did not feel safe at times. There were ants in the room, no bedbugs.

A stay in October 2023

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were cleaned regularly. The room has air conditioning that we can adjust according to our liking. The breakfast option was simply bread and cereals with tea or coffee - better than nothing and gave extra value to the already affordable room rate. The location is pretty nice, near University of Malta and just a few minutes walk to/from Qroqq bus stop to go to the airport or anywhere else on the island. Also being in a student area, the area surrounding the hostel is more peaceful and quiet than in Sliema or St Julian. Overall it did meet my expectations. It's a solid option for those travelling on a budget and want to stay away from the city's busy nightlife.

I was informed that breakfast was available until 10am, but I came down one day at 9am and they had concluded the service. The bed was rather hard and the pillow was too thin to be comfortable. There's a locker in the room however the lock function didn't work. The hinge on the door of my locker was also broken and therefore it's probably wise not to leave valuable items in the room if you're out of the hostel. As a student hostel, sometimes the students can get rather noisy at night. Bring earplugs especially if you're an early and light sleeper. Being a little far away from downtown, travelling to the hostel by public buses can be quite problematic at night.

For its price, worth it 1000% and will go again.

Free breakfast, has a pool, super cheap

The dining area could be better. There were flies flying around near the food. The shared kitchen as well needs to be remodelled.

Nice hostel close to Valetta

It's a nice place to stay with a great pool area. The rooms were quite spacious Breakfast was above average. The staff were nice and helpful. There was a pub and a bar close to the hostel. A small convenience store was also situated close by.

There were large lockers and other storage spaces in the room, but the locks to the lockers were out of order when I arrived and were not repaired during my four days stay. This caused some problems, because I had no place to put my valuables. The first days it was arranged by keeping them in the reception, but the last day they wouldn't keep them there for me. In my booking it said that the room would have a balcony with garden view. This was not correct. It only had a window facing a ventilation shaft.

Good value overall, very clean, I wish toilet was inside the room

Good value overall, spoteless clean everywhere, ok breakfast, has a small pool which is great for relaxing after a walking day.

Only important inconvinience, which I knew in advance, was that private toilet is a seperate room. It is private only for you, it is just across the corridor 1 m away from your door, but you need to dress up, close your door , open the other door , and then the other way around etc. Also the single bed was really too narrow for a big guy, maybe for an average person too. It's about almost an hour of walking away from Valleta old city

The room has a barcony with a hanger to sun clothes. The breakfast was awesome with varieties. The receptionists are the best.

They should improve on the house-keep especially for bathrooms.
